Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, the project supports the regeneration of our communities, reducing empty property numbers and positively impacting upon the effects of anti-social behaviour, crime, and vandalism. In doing so, the project supports participants to learn new skills and develop a sense of community pride, providing a meaningful stepping-stone into employment or other positive aspirations.
Led by our experienced tutor team, the project is eligible to anyone aged 16+ and is free to attend, supporting people across Wales to build their confidence, motivation, and self-esteem in an active, supportive and empathetic learning environment.
Participants can learn trade skills such as plastering, painting & decorating, tiling, carpentry and kitchen & bathroom fitting, whilst achieving accredited qualifications such as 1st Aid in the Workplace, Health & Safety Awareness and the CSCS card.
Delivered Monday-Friday, project attendance is flexible to need and circumstance, whilst public travel costs can be reimbursed. Read some of our previous participants’ stories here for more information.
